Angela & Steve – 28th December 2008

The last wedding of the year for me, was a chilly day in Preston. Steve and Angela are a fantastic couple, who are really easy going, which is a good thing as one is an Everton Fan and the other Liverpool! I reckon derby days would be fun…

The day started out meeting Angela and witnessing the chaos that was people being busy everywhere you turned. Angela being surprisingly calm in the middle.

Before driving to the church, we met Steve and his best man in his local, where I believe he has spent many an hour. Not many pubs would let their patrons pour their own drink.

The church was simply perfect, and a work of art, the service beautiful throughout as the sun shone through the stained glass windows.

The reception was just a short drive away, at the Barton Grange Hotel. A place full of wonderful and different styles of rooms, and the staff were extremely helpful, even helping arrange a surprise for the bride, when we found out David Moyes was dining across the road.

As the night moved on there were the speeches, and some colourful stories from the best man, crooners and the Liverpool anthem, which Angela wasn’t keen on surprisingly!

All in all, it was a tiring day, but one I was thrilled to be part of, congratulations to Steve & Angela.
