Welcome
You’ve managed to stumble upon the inner sanctum of Matt Wagster, the place where I’m supposed to unleash myself on the world, share my thoughts, the inane ramblings and other little titbits of information that come to mind as I glide through the days, weeks and years... and also as I intend to, the sneak previews of any weddings that I have the pleasure of shooting.
A little bit about me... Now where do I start? As you’ve probably figured out, I’m Matt Wagster, a keen photographer based in South Manchester, close to the Cheshire borders, but this doesn’t limit the areas that I can cover as a portrait or wedding photographer. I enjoy wandering with my cameras when I’m not working, capturing anything and everything around me, or spending some time in the studio. If I don’t have the camera in hand, you’re likely to find me out riding my mountain bike, enjoying some quiet time fishing my local area or having a sociable drink with friends; obviously not all at the same time. I’ve recently tried my hand at painting, but in a very abstract and modern sense... I may share some work on here in the future.
Moving forward, I have several small ongoing personal photographic projects, which offer a welcome distraction and help keep me thinking and with stirring up the creativity; just watching the light at times stirs images in the mind, pushing thoughts into ideas and onwards into the final captured result.
